Anar Guliyev

Anar Adil oglu Guliyev was born in 1977 in Baku.

In 1999, he graduated from the Economics Faculty of the National Aviation Academy of the Republic of Azerbaijan with a degree in “Economics and Management of Production and Services.”

In 1999, he began his career at the State Committee on Property as a specialist. From 2000 to 2001, he worked as a specialist and senior specialist at the Ministry of State Property, and from 2001 to 2005, he served as a chief specialist and senior consultant at the Ministry of Economic Development. From 2005 to 2009, he held the position of Director of Investments at the Export and Investment Promotion Fund of Azerbaijan.

From 2009 to 2016, he held positions as Deputy Head of the Department and Head of the Department at the State Historical and Architectural Reserve “Icherisheher” under the Cabinet of Ministers. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as an advisor to the Director and Head of the Apparatus at the State Agency for Housing Construction under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In 2018, he was appointed Head of the Apparatus of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 19, 2019, Anar Adil oglu Guliyev was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 8, 2020, Anar Adil oglu Guliyev was appointed Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

By the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 16, 2014, he was awarded the Medal “For Distinction in Public Service.”

On May 22, 2024, at an extraordinary general meeting, the Azerbaijan Archery Federation elected Anar Guliyev as President of the Azerbaijan Archery Federation.
